Shaped by Scott Bouchard, this all new design includes ground breaking advancements in both construction and features. Internally the Blunt utilizes our exclusive Flak Jacket Sidewall. This new sidewall material is comprised of strands of Carbon, Kevlar, and Fiberglass all woven together in a .25” diameter. When combined these material create a full 360 degree perimeter of added strength, flex, and pop. This new construction method allows the Blunt to be the thinnest most durable Byerly shape to date. Building a board with a fully customizable fin system was also part of the driving force in Scott Bouchard’s new creation. The Blunt features a molded-in style of removable fin that has two mounting locations. This allows a rider to run the fins closer to the tip/tail for a more locked in feel or nearly 1” from the tip/tail for a quicker release off the wake. The Blunt’s Blended 3-Stage rocker line provides just enough speed while still maintaining great pop. This series truly defines glass technology evolution and is a great choice for behind the boat or cable park sessions.

Pushing the envelope of compression molding and glass technology, Byerly boards is proud to present the Assault series. This series features never before used Glass Rope Edge technology. A full .25 in. fiberglass edge in every board means a torsionaly stronger lay up that will spring back to it original rocker line faster than anything on the market. This new reinforced construction also allows the Assault to be the thinnest board Byerly has produced to date. What does a thinner board mean? Easy, lighter overall weight and better flex characteristics. All these features compliment the Assaults blended three-stage rocker for that traditional Byerly board pop, and the longer ABS molded-in fins make for a strong edge hold into the wake. Overall the new Byerly Assault is the perfect combination shape and construction innovation.
