2012 Assault Wakeboard

2012 Assault

Butch has done it again! Pushing the envelope of compression molding and glass technology, Byerly boards is proud to present the Assault series. This series features never before used Glass Rope Edge technology. A full .25 in. fiberglass edge in every board means a torsionaly stronger lay up that will spring back to its original rocker line faster than anything on the market. This new reinforced construction also allows the Assault to be the thinnest board Byerly has produced to date. What does a thinner board mean? Easy, lighter overall weight and better flex characteristics. All these features compliment the Assaults blended three-stage rocker for that traditional Byerly board pop, and the longer ABS molded-in fins make for a strong edge hold into the wake. Overall the new Byerly Assault is the perfect combination shape and construction innovation.

2012 Blunt Wakeboard

2012 Blunt

After years of development, Byerly Boards is proud to present the Blunt series. Shaped by Scott Bouchard, this all new design includes ground breaking advancements in both construction and features. Internally the Blunt utilizes our exclusive Flak Jacket Sidewall. This new sidewall material is comprised of strands of Carbon, Kevlar, and Fiberglass all woven together in a .25” diameter. When combined these material create a full 360 degree perimeter of added strength, flex, and pop. This new construction method allows the Blunt to be the thinnest most durable Byerly shape to date. Building a board with a fully customizable fin system was also part of the driving force in Scott Bouchard’s new creation. The Blunt features a molded-in style of removable fin that has two mounting locations. This allows a rider to run the fins closer to the tip/tail for a more locked in feel or nearly 1” from the tip/tail for a quicker release off the wake. The Blunt’s Blended 3-Stage rocker line provides just enough speed while still maintaining great pop. This series truly defines glass technology evolution and is a great choice for behind the boat or cable park sessions.

2012 Conspiracy Wakeboard

Posted on 30 September 2011 by admin

2012 Conspiracy

Aaron Rathy and Scott Bouchard have collaborated to create a series like nothing the Byerly line has seen, the Conspiracy series. Expanding on the durability and strength a Glass Rope sidewall delivers, the Conspiracy takes it one step further with the addition of a Glass Rope deck inlay. This Dual Rope construction creates twice the strength of a traditional wakeboard lay-up allowing this series to be the thinnest in the line while still delivering all the explosive pop Byerly riders have come to love. Scott Bouchard has also created a faster more responsive ride. Combining an all new profile and ABS molded-in fins closer to the edge of the board, the Conspiracy is quick to respond and holds an edge all the way to the wake. Once there the new placement of the ABS fins, ending nearly an inch from the tip and tail, allows the board to release quickly giving a rider more time to begin their rotation. The Conspiracy series is the perfect balance of innovation and shape, creating one of the best rides out there.

2012 Monarch Wakeboard

Posted on 30 September 2011 by admin

2012 Monarch

The Monarch series has quickly become the staple of the Byerly wakeboard line up. Beginning with a mellow, Blended 3-stage rocker and shorter 9 inch molded fins, this shape is faster and releases off the wake quicker than previous Byerly models. New molded footbed contours keep the board rigid in the center to maintain the rocker line for consistent pop. The board then blends into a lean tip and tail for maximum flex and snap off the wake and when initiating edges. In addition to the new shape, the Monarch also features our all new Biolite 3 core. This material is lighter and stronger than traditional foam core boards. The Monarch is a proven shape at a new lower price.

The revival’s compression molded construction also makes it stronger and more durable than most wakeskates out there. The new and improved top features run closer to the edges of the skate allowing for better control and foot placement.
